International day!!!

Today is International Day. I don't know if you guys have it or if it's just a tradition in our school, but I'll explain what it is anyways. On International day we celebrate the different nationalities and cultures of our school. You can dress in your national costume or something from your country. (Teachers always too.)
We had French first period. Mme Farcy had this Colombian costume. Now I have no idea where she comes from. She wore a Colombian costume, speaks perfect Russian and teaches us French. Well... We had Music (a very very very boring subject) next and History. Mme Roussel wore this asian-looking-made-out-of-silk costume with her hair tied back into a bun. Nothing happened in Physics (as usual).
At the beginning of lunch everyone had to go to homeroom while all the dancers had to go practise. I was nervous for my solo piece, but I was sure I was going to do well. We were given out these gross red shirts (the other group got lovely white ones!) and had to change into our sports shorts (the others were given cute red ones!). All of us arrived to the Concha before the others. There were many stands with food from different countries. They had boiled apples and hot berry juice at the Russian store. I tried it all and recommended it to my friends.
As the show started I became less nervous. Our group dance was 10th but it didn't seem like a long time. When we out to the grass area that was assigned to be our "stage" I realised that it didn't seems like a performance at all. I felt like I was just dancing to myself with a group of friends around me. Niko (the only dude in our dance class and the whole CDL dance team) was so embarrassed. The T-shirt we were all given looked funny on him. The boys were cheering for him.
My solo dance piece was 20th. I changed into my dress and waited for my turn. There were so many people at the Concha now. The teachers all looked very funny in their dresses. Especially the two German teachers: Frau Weinz and Frau Lemacher. They had colourful dresses and aprons and Frau Weinz had braids in her hair (lol!). The funniest thing was the sponge-throwing game (how else can I explain it?). For a certain amount of money you got to throw a sponge at your teacher. There were Mr Pitchford, Mr Wilshurst, M Perron (!!!!) and Mme Roussel (I'm so ashamed I didn't get a turn to throw a sponge at her!). They actually enjoyed themselves (well... all of them except for Mr Pitchford).
Soon it was my turn. And again it didn't feel like it was performance. I just went on the "stage" and started dancing. I didn't smile a lot, though because the song I was dancing to wasn't really made for people to smile at. People cheered for me (you should have heard Yaz. She shouted like crazy, "GO SONYA!!!!). I wasn't scared because the people in the audience were all my friends or at least the people I knew. Yasmin and Franny were filming me. I'm sure I did very well because many people were congratulating me after.
So that was International Day! Tomorrow it's gona be crazy day!

Yeaterday was so fun!

Yesterday Franny and I went shopping to buy our twin day T-shirts and presents for Anast and Anouk.
First we got ice cream and then we went to H&M. We bought our presents there. We also visited Swarawski, Hugo Boss, Massimo Dutti and Zara, but the T-shits for twin day were bought at Tally Wejl.
After that we went to a really nice shop called Famous Ape, but we didn't get anything there. In this other shop we looked for costumes for celebrity/animation character day and thing we could wear to the disco party. At last we went to the American store and bought candy. The first thing we got was called Twizzler that tasted like soap (XD). We also bought a Donner Box that we ate while waiting for the train to come. I had a lot of fun.

Yesterday night it was also the Eurovision night. I voted for Russia (even though my vote didn't count) because they were the best. Here's their video:

Who did you vote for?

Live Love Laugh

Sometimes I catch myself laughing for no reason. I mean I know the reason why I'm laughing, but it's so stupid I can't believe such stupid jokes make me laugh.
Yesterday was probably one of the best days of my school life because I didn't go to school. I didn't feel well in the morning, but my mum still forced me to get up. We waited at the bus stop for 20mins, but the bus wasn't there so we went home (it was also because Belek wasn't there so we decided that we simply missed the bus). I came home thinking it was just a dream. Finally I had an actual reason to stay home!
Today Anna (a girl on the bus) told me that the bus broke at her bus stop and that her and her parents had to drive her to school taking Dani (the little kid, the first one to be on the bus) with them. Kati (the bus driver) tried to call my mum, but she didn't have the right phone number. It's so fun to just stay home, look at your watch and think about what you would be doing if you were at school. Although I was (really) bored I liked that day because school can be even more boring than that!

SPORTS DAY!!!

Sports day is usually one of the best days at school. In the past years we used to go to the sports centre and would spend our whole day there. We could anything we wanted; ball throw, shot put, javelin, 600m run, 60m sprint, high jump and long jump. But thins year it is different.
On Thursdays we always have French first period. Mme Farcy accompanied us to the sports centre where we were split into houses. For the sports activities we could only do sprint, long jump and ball throw. My first one was long jump. We lined up by houses and waited for our turn. I was at the middle and there wasn't much to wait for. My first jump was a scratch, but I did 2m80 on my second one.
After we did sprint. We did it in alphabetical order that I didn't like. I'm not fast at sprinting and I didn't want to be the last one to arrive. Luckily I wasn't. Anast, Yasmin and Molly were against me. I knew Anast was quite fast. She seems very sporty and is always in the CDL Grand Prix. I din't know anything about Molly who I never hang out with. She doesn't look like she is a fast runner, but she doesn't look like a slow one either. So when the coach blew his whistle I tried to sprint as fast as I could. The wind was in my face and I really enjoyed it. Anast came first, Yasmin came second and Molly was the last one to arrive. My time was 11sec something. I was very proud of myself because last year my result used to be 14sec.
My last activity was ball throw. I'm OK at it. I don't remember my score, but it was around 15m.
When everyone was done we went back to the school to have or lunch there. One footballer came to our school and showed us some cool tricks with a soccer ball. I didn't feel like watching it so I had my lunch at the tent (for blue house). I'm hot lunch, so the school is supposed to provide me food. I was given a white with a sandwich, an apple, cheese, chips and ice tea in it. I also brought 2 sandwiches of my own. I ate everything and was very full.
The last thing of the day was a race. The first one was called Statue of Liberty. You basically put a volleyballon a cone and run as fast as you can without dropping it. For the second one they only asked for 5 girls and 5 boys to participate so I was cheering. You had to put a ball in between your legs and run. The teachers were invoved in the third race. We had Miss Dixon, Mme Roussel and someone else running for our house.
The award ceremony was very entertaining because for every award there would be a person from blue house. I didn't win anything, but I was still very proud of myself. When they announced the scores we found out that blue house won. YAY!!! WE'RE THE BEST!!!

I miss something

Yesterday in German class I felt really bad. Not because I was sick. Something inside me was making me cry. I don't even know why.
You know that when you miss something there's this feeling in your soul that brings water to your eyes. You feel like you've been scratched inside, as if someone was pulling you. I had this feeling for no reason. Nothing was wrong but I felt like I was missing something (or maybe someone) I really love. I thought of places and people without who I would normally feel lonely, but none of them were the actual reason.
