Complimenting strangers

So umm... I don't know how to start since I haven't posted in ages. Let's start with the fact that my friends threw a f*cking surprise birthday party for me!!! Like what???!!!! It's been a week now, but I'm still not over it. I'm not gonna go into the details of how everything happened because I've told literally everyone I know and there's no point really. I honestly didn't expect it and I'm just so happy to have people like this in my life <3 I had so much fun! Also, Dasha gave me a notebook with so many nice things written in it and I cried reading what all of these notes say. She's the best person in the world! I decided to use that notebook as a diary (no surprise there) and illustrate some of the things that happen to me every day.
The art exam went surprisingly well and it was all really chill!
The last couple of days at school before the holidays were amazing, but I don't think I should really reveal all the information about certain *cough* secret clubs and *cough* yeah who said that?
Also I think I should write about it here so I don't forget. Yesterday, being the amazing student that I am, I went to the library to study for my chemistry exam and I saw this absolutely beautiful girl on the tram, who was sitting in front of me. She was so pretty I literally could not take my eyes off her like she was that stunning! I sat there, staring at her the whole way through. I really wanted to tell her how beautiful she was, but then I just thought that it would be weird, considering how awkward I am, to tell her that, so I just... got off the tram. Yeah... Is it normal to compliment strangers? I mean should I have said anything to her without creeping her out?
Yeah I should be revising

Update

So a lot of things happened since my last post. I went on a parachute "ride" and it was an amazing experience! I felt like I was flying since I could see everything underneath me!
The next day it was my dad's birthday. Mitja and I composed a pretty badass rap for him. We left to Albania afterwards and I gotta say that it's one of the most beautiful countries I've ever seen if not the most beautiful one. I wish I had my camera with me. In the evening we went to quite a nice restaurant. Everyone was saying that I look beautiful with make-up on. I dont really like the way I look in make-up. I guess I'm just not used to it.
The next day we went to a flea market. I wish I could've stated there forever because I loved everything about it. After the flea market we all went to a big empty shopping centre. I had to shop for dresses which I hate doing. I don't really like the way I look like in dresses. Again, I'm not used to wearing them. The dress I got is red and it looks like a Japanese school uniform at the top and a kimono at the bottom. When I first tried it on, I had knee of those "Cinderella" moments when you look in the mirror and don't recognise yourself. That's how well it suits me.
I left Albania the next day, but, before leaving, I went to an amazing Italian reastaurant. I honestly had the impression that I tried Sanji's cooking because it was so good and it even looked like something Sanji would cook.
On the 20th, I left to London. Yayyyy!!! I was surprised by how nice English people are. Seriously. I've been living in a French-speaking country all this time. I'm finally with Yasmin!!!!!

Spring is my favourite time of the year!

I had my birthday party today and it was more enjoyable than I could ever had imagined it to be. The theme was cooking, just like it was in 6th Grade. We had two ours to prepare a whole meal, including a started, a main course and desert. After we have finished cooking, we sat around the table and ate. We could barely finish what was on our plates because the meal was very filling. We talked and laughed and I felt very pleased because I understood that I was surrounded with the best people ever! Matthew was doing his weatherman impression and all of us where a bit sad that Charlie couldn't make it to the party.
After the party, Mickael, Rosa, Nina, Yasmin and I went to the lake and ate ice cream even though I was still very full.

MY 15TH BIRTHDAY!!!

I was woken up by the doorbell. It was the postman with a huge cardboard box! It came all the way from Montenegro and I was very excited to open it. Inside I discovered a post card from my dad, a pair of boots and Russian chocolates!!!
Mum and I decided to get cake for my friends at school. On our way to the shopping centre we stopped by Tanigami, a manga/anime shop. Since I am a member of that store, I got a 10% discount on the book I got because of my birthday. The book I got is simply beautiful! It's a Spirited Away art book with sketches, notes and an interview from Hayao Miyazaki!
I sat on the tram with the huge strawberry cake we bought at the shopping centre and arrived to school. My classmates ran outside to wish me a happy birthday. I was very happy since I have never had so many friends before. In the lunchroom Rosa, Nina, Dasha, Frenchy, Gabi and I cut the cake and devoured it within minutes. I also opened the presents I received from my friends. Dasha got me an owl bracelet and Rosa gave me a very cute stuffed owl that I have later called Ashad (Dasha backwards). When we went to class Rosa told me to open the other box she gave me. She made cupcakes with purple owls, a snake and a lion! They were amazing because they summed up our inside jokes perfectly!
In art class I was trying to bribe my teacher with the Russian chocolates since she was filling in our report cards. I hope it worked ^_^
After school, Rosa and I went to town as we sometimes do if we have spare time. When I came home I discovered two more cakes in the fridge, but I could not eat them because I was so full. I also got a huge Easter bunny that I don't think I will ever be able to finish.
This was one of the best birthdays I have ever had because I realised that I have so many friends!
Today's question is: what is your favourite food? Bacon!!!

AMSTERDAM!!! (continued)

The next day, we wake up when it's dark.
Breakfast is the best thing ever! There's no "recycled food" like in Village Camps. Everything is fresh and well cooked. I make myself a cheese sandwich and drink some juice. Since we were quite late, we finish quickly, take the things we need for the festival and hurry to the bus.
The school we were performing at is called ASH. I thought it was something like the "Amsterdam International school" or "Amsterdam School of whatever...", but I was wrong. The school ended up being "The American School of Haag". Yes, the AMERICAN school of haag.
As I enter the building, I realise that it's not that hard to tell that the school is American. My eyes hurt from all the colours around me. There are so many posters and drawing and flags and more posters.....
We find out when and where we're preforming and go to the "hang-out" place. It's a big room with many chairs and desks. We leave our stuff there and start to practise the songs.
Yasmin and I walk around, exploring the school. It's so colourful. The posters shout "Be yourself!" "Speak up!" "Show us your personality!". There is even a poster that said "I love both my dads! I have a perfect family!". It shows a picture of a little girl holding two man by the hands. The background is the rainbow flag...

There's nothing wrong with homosexuality, but it's just unacceptable to put posters like this in a school! Some people don't see anything wrong with it, but I do! I don't think you should be open about these things with people! Especially, in a school! There was also a poster that said "be who you want to be" with a picture of a men dressed in women's clothes.... You don't put things like that in a school!!!
A school is supposed to be a place for learning. It's supposed to make you more mature. You don't put toys in a classroom! Maybe, preschoolers... Ok... They're small and everything... But a 4th grade class with stuffed animals.... No!!!
They want to make their students responsible, but instead they do the opposite! They just tell them facts (eg: being racist is bad), but they don't explain it to them. They make the decision, instead of letting the children choose. So how does it make their students responsible?

My performance with the choir goes quite well. Unfortunately, we only have six people with us...
After the choir comes our duet with Yasmin. I'm nervous, but also excited. We sing nicely and the judge is happy with us. I'm very proud!
Yasmin and I go to the big cafeteria and buy a snack. There are large flags on the walls.
Next to us there are long tables. There's a chess competition. Suddenly, a wild idea appears.
Yaz and I come up to the players and say, "Do you know where chess was invented?" As the kids shake their heads we say, "Chess was invented in India in 600 A.D." and point at the Indian flag.
Zoum!!!

In our school agendas there's a fact for every week. That week the fact was "Chess was invented in India in 600 A.D.

We left the HORRIBLE school in the evening, when it was dark.
Dinner was amazing. We could take anything we wanted.
Since it was Gemma's birthday we also had a delicious cake! Omnomnom!

We also got ribbons for participating. I got a blue one and a red one! Red is for div.II and blue is for div.I
We left the next morning........ Sad face....... =(

IT WAS THE BESTESTEST TRIP EVERRRR!!!!!

Special thanks to:
Franny for the photos (youtube: StyleChicFrancesca)
Yasmin for being an awesome kazooa
Rachel, Gemma and Nina for being the cool people

The best day of my life

"...paying for the things I never done. Don't don't let go..."
It was the best day of my life today. It's still kind of my birthday. I'm obsessed with "Stereo love". It's such an old song but... Songs like this never get old.
It's the CDL Grand Prix today. So we got to miss Sports. I don't have anything against Sports, but doing nothing and messing around with your friends more fun than that. It was sunny and everyone seemed happy. (In the morning I made Yaz jealous that I saw Mme Farcy and she didn't. She's like her fan now. She gets excited whenever she sees her and wants to stalk her. When Mme Farcy says hi to her she goes hyper.) We were standing outside at first, but then Franny got "sick" and we went to the bathroom, crashing everything on our way. We screamed a lot in the bathroom. Franny broke her bracelet, Yasmin felt weird because we made jokes about Mr Hitz. There were lots of reasons to scream and laugh about. One dude was stalking us (we told Yaz it was Mr Hitz).
Then, all of us went to the rock. Franny and I decided to sunbathe. Yasmin left us so we were happy to enjoy ourselves at the sun. We lay on the grass and plugged our earphones in. It felt like summer so I decided to listen to "Stereo Love" (of course). Imagine, lying on the grass and listening to the best song. I'm sure it would be better if Peter was there with me. It was too sunny so we went inside the Molesson. There was nobody so we could do whatever we wanted. We had a lot of fun. We opened the windows and shouted out random stuff (mostly Franny) like "I'm sexy and I know it!". Franny gave me a biology sheet (on which I got 7/10) and I starting singing it like opera.
It was the best day of my life so far. Sometimes I think that the most important thing in life is to have a BFF. How would my life be like if I didn't have a BFF? Not very exciting, I guess. Thanks to Franny for being my BFF!
P.S. Tatsuya, Fielding and Martin visited us today. For those who don't know: Tatsuya is this dude who was on my bus before he left to Japan. Martin (aka Benedict) was my boyfriend in the play we had in fifth grade and Fielding is his brother - the fastest guy in the school.
P.S.S. Guess what I'm doing now? Listening to "Stereo Love" of course.

MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I didn't go to school today. Who would ever go to school on such a great day! I'm turning 13 after all. So it's a good excuse for taking a day-off school.
My birthday has always been the best day of the year. Even when I see the number 26 it feels like someone's tickling my heart. I always wait for this day because it's the only day when everyone in the world is happy and I'm happy for them because they're happy! Simple as that! Everybody smiles and the sun is smiling too. That's why I love my birthdays. And I love getting presents too.
Since we were going to Annecy we had to wake up early. (I could barely sleep this night anyways! Thoughts were bothering me.) I was shining (yes!) of happiness! In the elevator there was a big surprise waiting for me. There were balloons! I'm still wondering how they got there since it was early morning and they weren't there last evening. None of the people I know hang them there, so I consider it to be... a surprise from the elevator itself! When we got the tickets for the bus for Annecy I realised that all the ticket numbers start with the number 26. The sum of the numbers on my ticket would add to 26! So did the sum of the bus number we were riding on!
We had great time there. I ate pizza at the restaurant. Everyone was happy! So was I!
(Later I cried because my mum didn't seem happy and had a nosebleed.)
We bought a delicious cake and ate it at home.
Now I'm listening to "Stereo love". It's makes everything so "summerish".
P.S. Yes! I forgot to tell you about my presents! I got these cool watches from my Grandma, a really cute handmade postcard from Vasjok, a lot of jewellery from my aunt and... I'm getting a phone!!!
