We are a family (yeah yeah yeah)!

Friday was very fun!
We had an algebra CTP4 test in the morning. The beginning was very easy and I thought I was going to do well, but I had to guess the last questions since I didn't know how to solve them.
After Art we had "General Knowledge" match. Our team lost and I was disappointed.
In homeroom we had our own General Knowledge competition. Yasmin, Franny, me, Niko and Hugo got to ask the class random questions. One of them was so funny, Yasmin and I had to run outside because we were laughing too much. The first thing we saw was the bathroom, so we ran in there and zoumed. Mme Boisson (my French teacher) heard us and told us to go to class. I don't think anyone noticed us missing.
After school was the best part of it. We didn't go to Simply this Friday since I was involved in the dance show. Carolina also stayed with us. Franny went to Happy Days and the three of us decided to go upstairs to the auditorium like last week. After what we've done the week before, they removed the computer. The projector was in the corner, unplugged and there were only two white board markers. Also, the two doors were locked so we had to sneak through the library door without anyone noticing.
We made a harlem shake video (that was a fail) and drew on the board. We wrote a lot of stuff, but erased everything after. I wrote "Carolina will kill you!". Next week we have to make a lip dub to, our favourite, nipple song!
The dance show was kind of embarrassing.... I really didn't like the dance we were doing... Everyone told me that our dance group was very good, but I still didn't like it. It wasn't the worst though.... At least, I wasn't doing the Indian dance. The Indian dance was like one pound fish. They had the same costumes.
Today I had to wake up very early (at 9 or something) to get to the train. I got there 30 minutes early and had to wait in the cold. Franny arrived. Yasmin and Carolina did too. The four of us went to the chocolate festival that was five minutes away. We didn't have much time so the only thing we bought was a chocolate rabbit for our friend Lydie (because it said Lidi on it). I also got chocolate fondue that was amazing.
We only had about three minutes until the train and we wanted to get to the train station as soon as possible. There was a train/tourist bus going around the festival. We got in it and were hoping to end up close to the train station. Instead the "train" drove to and around the chocolate factory and stopped at the same distance to the station as we were before. This is called karma, my friends.... Don't be lazy...
We rushed to the ticket machine, but had no time. The machine didn't take Yasmin's 100chf note and it was the only thing we had. We hopped into the train quickly.
Suddenly we saw Niko getting on. He sat next to us.
When they came to check our tickets I showed the old one I had in my purse from this morning. Franny has hers. She gave Carolina her one week old ticket. The people who looked at our tickets didn't even check the date. Yasmin didn't have anything except her 100chf note. They took her address, phone number and name. Now, her mum has to pay... Niko was just laughing there.... XD
We met Marina and Lydie at Molinos, an Italian restaurant. Marina only had two hours since she had to go back to the hospital. We had a great time!
After that Yasmin, Franny, Carolina and I went for a walk around the old town. The thing is that our darling Carolina is a little devil. She would be all calm and nice and then, suddenly, she would start shouting "Oh hell no! Aint' nobody got time for dat!" and swearing and blaming everything on indians (why....???). At one point she started singing in a low black person's accent voice "we are a family! yeah yeah yeah! ooo hell ya baby baby!". After that she'd go all quiet again and tell us to calm down. And then she would shout again. She even shouted "I'm black!". She learned how to say the word madarchod from us and now she says it all the time! Carolina is amazing! I love her so much!
We went to the playground and creeped some little kids out. I never had so much fun on a playground before....
I love my messed up friends!
note: So... My friends and I are a family. Yasmin and I adopted Carolina. She is our stepdaughter. Franny is Carolina's "ghetto aunt". Carolina had her aunt's voice.... Marina is Franny's husband, so she is Carolina's uncle. Lydie is their child, so she is Carolina's cousin. Hiba is Yasmin's mum and my mother-in-law. Yay!

Valentine's Dance 2013

Yesterday, it was the Valentine's Day Dance at my school.
In the morning Carolina got a rose from Vlad and she was very excited about it. She thought he liked her and couldn't stop talking about it.
Maths was fist period. Nothing really happened because we had a quiz that was supposed to be our chapter test.
German was next. It was a double. During the second period we went up to the auditorium to listen to Anne Fine, a childrens' writer who came to visit our school.
Everyone thought she was funny, while Yaz and I sat at the back facepalming like "This is sad...". She talked about depressing stuff like her crazy kids. I don't know if I understood it right, but she said that her son had a rotten brain, one of her daughters was a misanthrope and another daughter floated around the house. She also told us about the funniest book she has written. It is about a boy trying to commit suicide and failing every time....
And another thing: I don't read childrens' books!
Then it was English class. It wasn't that bad.... (Wait! What??? Did I just admit liking English class???!!!!! What's wrong with me???) Yasmin was being what the others call "racist". Our teacher didn't really mind because I guess she has a sense of humour.
After that we had French and Music. There wasn't anything that interesting about these subjects.
After school the four of us (Franny, Yasmin, Carolina and me) went to Franny's house. Marina came later since she (lucky!!!!) had to re-do a science test.
We put our dresses and make-up on and came (as always!) fashionably-late!
It was very cold outside, but inside the building it was very hot.
The dance was in the auditorium. There is a stage at the back. Next to and behind the stage there is a little place covered with black curtains. In there there are chairs, desks and other things people need for plays or concerts. On the right side of the stage there's a door. Behind it there's a room with other equipment like costumes or mirrors. In the room there are stairs going to the balcony where they have the music. There's also another door in that room. You can enter it from the stage and from the outside.
Ms Lemale didn't let anyone go behind the stage. Since Yaz and I are rebels (zoum! zoum! zoum!) we did not listen to her (zoum! zoum! zoum!). We went inside the little room and came out from the other entrance that leads to the back of the stage. We did it two times and.... Got in trouble... What the heck...?
Franny, Yasmin, Carolina, Marina and I decided to take a photo. Our money was downstairs, so we came down to get it. We found Missis Manchala there. I feel sorry for the teachers.... Really....
We took the photo, ate some pizza and went to dance.
Yasmin and I got kind of bored so we started making up another epic escape plan (just in case we have to escape from the auditorium for some random reason).
The building is divided into two parts: the Eiger and the Cervin. The dance was in the Eiger auditorium and the food was in the Cervin auditorium. In the Cervin auditorium there are two doors. One of them was open for everyone. It led to the elevator and the stairs. The other door was also unlocked, but we weren't allowed to go there. But for Yaz and I a "no" means a "yes".
We sneaked through the door and ran downstairs. We took the fire escape ones so no one notices us. (Now I sound stupid... Two 13-year-old girls running around the building in heels... Who wouldn't notice that?) We ran to the first floor and, of course, Missis Manchala saw us. As we saw her we ran back up the stairs and sneaked into the first bathroom. (Now I sound even more stupid... Hiding...?Why...? No one was really after us....)
Today in English class Missis Manchala told us that she really didn't like that. She said that she didn't tell Mr Gilbert (our principal). When she was saying that I was waiting for her to say "I didn't tell Mr Gilbert, but I told M Peron instead!" Luckily, she didn't say that.
The dance was over before I knew it. Everyone rushed outside and the place became deserted.
Unforgettable experience.

I miss Yasmin...

It's Yasmin's third week off school... I miss her a lot. She's not a popular person, but a lot people miss her. I dream about her coming back to school and text her 24/7.
Her absence made me closer to Carolina. I never talked to her before. She turned out to be very nice and not at all childish as I thought she would be. She acts and does things that any teenage girl would do. I think it's just her appearance that made me think of her character the wrong way.
It was my French teacher's last day yesterday. I think I'm actually gona miss her. She was my first and only NORMAL french teacher so far. Usually the frenchies have a very weird behaviour and way of teaching. They're always too obsessed with their job that it seems like they have no other interest in life. I wonder how our new teacher's going to be.
And Yasmin's still not there... I don't know where she is! Help me!!!
I had Simply Theatre today. It wasn't fun without Yasmin... I need her!!! I don't know why, but when I'm at Simply I just start to act like a misanthrope thinking about how dumb and annoying people are. And I end up in a very very bad mood so I look like I'm just shy or something. But in reality I just have this "oh, screw that!" mood and so I just stand there in the corner because I can't be bothered to listen to anyone (not because I'm shy). We were also singing there. I couldn't do any of the songs because they were all too high for my voice. So when I started singing I sounded like a bumble bee...
I miss Yasmin..... ((((((( Saaad faaace!!!! (((((

Halloween!!!

Yesterday, it was the Halloween dance. Right after school, me, Franny, Yasmin, Hibba and Diane went to Franny's house to change. On our way there we saw so many people from our school at Snoopy's (a cafe next to our school). We got some chips there.
We had so much stuff to do before the dance. I wanted to be a Scene kid for the night. I was inspired by one of MyMusic's characters. Here she is:
I straightened my hair and put A LOT of eyeliner on. This is how I ended up looking:

The dance was very fun. One of the first songs was Gangnam Style. There were many other good songs, but there were also slow songs. Nobody asked me (as usual), but I don't mind. It's just that no one from our grade deserves to be with me because I'm better than them. :-) The food was good and there was also a haunted house. It wasn't scary at all. I poked all the people who were meant to scare us. LOL!

I survived!

It's the last week of school. We don't do anything in class, really. Belek didn't even bother to bring his bag with him today. And since it's the last week of school you can get in trouble all the time you want.
Adela (our dance teacher) wasn't there so we had Mme Roussel (!) and another french teacher substituting. Mme Roussel was teaching Niko how to dance (XD) and the other teacher showed us how to warm up in her short dress (sitting on the floor with her legs spread is a "great" idea). I don't know why, but Mme Boisson (another french teacher), my french teacher Mme Farcy and another guy I don't know decided to join us. They stood at the door and talked. They were trying to figure out how to blow into a strange-looking "whistle" and it didn't make noise. I didn't have a slightest idea what the hell they were doing. Seriously! Why?
At lunch time Yasmin and I decided to sit with the french teachers.
They were kind of confused since no ordinary student would want to sit with a bunch of teachers (especially french teachers). Franny, who wasn't hungry at all, joined us and Mme Roussel wanted to feed her salad. What's up with Mme Roussel these days? She's just hilarious. For some reason I want to have her as a teacher next year.
And today it was our last french class!!!!! It's also kind of sad to believe it because this year french class was some sort of entertainment for me (unlike last year when it was just torture!).
By the way, I got a haircut! I don't have a picture yet, but now my hair is reallllly short. It's just a bit lower than my ears. And it looks very nice! ;-)

International day!!!

Today is International Day. I don't know if you guys have it or if it's just a tradition in our school, but I'll explain what it is anyways. On International day we celebrate the different nationalities and cultures of our school. You can dress in your national costume or something from your country. (Teachers always too.)
We had French first period. Mme Farcy had this Colombian costume. Now I have no idea where she comes from. She wore a Colombian costume, speaks perfect Russian and teaches us French. Well... We had Music (a very very very boring subject) next and History. Mme Roussel wore this asian-looking-made-out-of-silk costume with her hair tied back into a bun. Nothing happened in Physics (as usual).
At the beginning of lunch everyone had to go to homeroom while all the dancers had to go practise. I was nervous for my solo piece, but I was sure I was going to do well. We were given out these gross red shirts (the other group got lovely white ones!) and had to change into our sports shorts (the others were given cute red ones!). All of us arrived to the Concha before the others. There were many stands with food from different countries. They had boiled apples and hot berry juice at the Russian store. I tried it all and recommended it to my friends.
As the show started I became less nervous. Our group dance was 10th but it didn't seem like a long time. When we out to the grass area that was assigned to be our "stage" I realised that it didn't seems like a performance at all. I felt like I was just dancing to myself with a group of friends around me. Niko (the only dude in our dance class and the whole CDL dance team) was so embarrassed. The T-shirt we were all given looked funny on him. The boys were cheering for him.
My solo dance piece was 20th. I changed into my dress and waited for my turn. There were so many people at the Concha now. The teachers all looked very funny in their dresses. Especially the two German teachers: Frau Weinz and Frau Lemacher. They had colourful dresses and aprons and Frau Weinz had braids in her hair (lol!). The funniest thing was the sponge-throwing game (how else can I explain it?). For a certain amount of money you got to throw a sponge at your teacher. There were Mr Pitchford, Mr Wilshurst, M Perron (!!!!) and Mme Roussel (I'm so ashamed I didn't get a turn to throw a sponge at her!). They actually enjoyed themselves (well... all of them except for Mr Pitchford).
Soon it was my turn. And again it didn't feel like it was performance. I just went on the "stage" and started dancing. I didn't smile a lot, though because the song I was dancing to wasn't really made for people to smile at. People cheered for me (you should have heard Yaz. She shouted like crazy, "GO SONYA!!!!). I wasn't scared because the people in the audience were all my friends or at least the people I knew. Yasmin and Franny were filming me. I'm sure I did very well because many people were congratulating me after.
So that was International Day! Tomorrow it's gona be crazy day!

At the night of the dance

Yesterday, we had our Valentine's dance so I came home late.
It was the best dance we had ever had! I danced like crazy... But let's start from the beginning first.
It was a very weird day, starting from the early morning. First period was French (a strange subject itself). Yasmin begged our French teacher to make us listen to the song Friday by Rebecca Black in French. I took my headphones off at the middle of it. Yasmin found out that there is a god and from now on loves our French teacher. Then Mme Farcy sang to us herself, playing on Mica's guitar. She has a good voice, though. Yasmin was imitating... Who can ever tell what she was trying to imitate?
Then it was music. All of  a sudden we had a test. No problem for me.
Geo...
Physics was amazing! We went on youtube (with M.Dalche!!!) and watched weird videos. He was in a good sense of humour and was staring at my beret. Franny and I enjoyed writing and drawing with our left hand.
English. DON'T DO THE MINIMUM TO GET BY, DO NOT DEFINE ME!!!
Yasmin got hyper in computer class and freaked Mica out by saying "Swostika!" and doing her evil laugh.
In Art we were quoting Miss Manchala and tried to sound serious. Franny drew a picture of a women (who looked like Miss Manchala) and weird things around her. We titled it "Miss Manchala is thinking outside the box".
After all of us went to Franny's house (by Yasmin's Mum's car). We put our make-up on there and dressed.
The dance began as we arrived. There was some lame music at the beginning, so after standing in the auditorium for a while Yaz and I went to eat. We sat on a big desk with Franny, Mica and some girls from 8th grade. I took way too much food so that when I went back to the dance room I felt like vomiting.
The music was awesome. They played "I'm sexy and I know it," "Whata f*ck" and some other songs that teachers wouldn't appreciate.
Yasmin and I saw our French teacher there and went to say "Privet" to her. Why weren't all the teachers dancing? Mme Farcy said that she was "on duty". So what? When Franken-hunch came close to Mme Farcy we were making love signs to them and saying "Couple!". They looked cute together, trust me!
I was dancing like crazy. Too bad I didn't slow dance with anyone, but it was still the best dance I had ever had!!!
