First day = not that bad...?

(No! No! No! Summer is over! Nooooooooo!)
^ now imagine this filling up about 100 lines of this post. Yeah. This is how I feel.

So today was my first day at school, in highschool, in a new school. I was so nervous... No. The word nervous doesn't even describe how I felt last night. I was scared. I didn't sleep the whole night though because different thoughts would come to my mind.
The first day ended up being not that bad at all.
First of all many of my friends ended up in the same school as me. Leon, my friend from school and Simply Theatre, was the first person I saw when I arrived. Later on I also met Vikram (who I also know from Simply) and Jasmine (who I did choir with).
The first thing we had to do is go to our homeroom advisers. I'm really glad that I ended up in Miss Walker's homeroom since she's an extraordinarily charming and simply adorable lady. In my class we have 17 students who seem really nice and friendly. It's a bit unusual that in the whole of Year 10 (yes, I'm now in Year 10 and not Grade 9) we only have two classes (in my old school we had 6 different homerooms).
Today I also met a couple of my teachers. Overall they are nice people (but some of them are just creepy =P). At recess I met a lot of people. I even got to have a conversation about religion with this guy called Mooney who seems like a big nerd (zoum).
After school I rewarded myself with a chocolate because during the whole school day I wasn't scared at all.

We're invisible!

So yesterday it was Friday.
In art class we were doing masks. We had to lie on the desk and our partner had to put this liquid-white-bandage-thing on out face. Yasmin and I were smarter... We found a mask and instead of doing the design on someone else we did it on the mask in another room.
After school we decided to go to the auditorium. The projector and the computer were there this time. We connected both of them and logged on the computer. But the mouse wasn't working. I found a way to control the computer without the mouse and looked for a nice picture (of something not really... Yeah... Not telling you...). Suddenly the French section principal walked in. Everything was projected on the screen so I pressed alt+F4. He walked out the other door and didn't even notice us... Finally we found the right picture. We couldn't find a way to zoom in on it. Then another important member of the staff walked in. This time the alt+F4 didn't work... But he didn't notice us either!
We couldn't find a way to zoom in on the photo we found so we gave up and switched everything off. (Listen, I don't know how to clear the history without a mouse...)
After Simply my mum told me that Vasjok, my cousin, will not be coming to the summer campus this summer. I was really sad... What am I going to do?

Lip Dub time!!!

Friday was a very fun day, as usual. In CSL we were talking about drugs and Yasmin and I made Emma say "Viagra makes you horny".
Art was the worst and the best class at the same time. I didn't do anything and Sonyasmin spent more than 50% of her time in the bathroom. We managed to escape. Well, not really. We asked to go to our lockers to get our art supplies. I made a video about it, but due to what we have said in that video I can't put it up. Later, I found strawberries in my bag and we ate them. Omnomnom!
After school Yasmin and I decided to make a lip dub to "the indian nipple song". We only managed to film the introduction, but it was still very fun to make. The best thing was that we tried to turn my purple scarf into something that looks like a sari. We failed...
After Simply Theatre I went to Yasmin's house. The next day we climbed trees and saw many friendly cats. Here's a video about it.
-skip to 15:43 to listen to a very intelligent discussion about the applied and the literal meaning of the word "namaste"
-skip to 02:01 to see a friendly cat
-skip to 13:31 to see some weirdows dancing in slow motion
-skip to 06:42 to see the tree

We are a family (yeah yeah yeah)!

Friday was very fun!
We had an algebra CTP4 test in the morning. The beginning was very easy and I thought I was going to do well, but I had to guess the last questions since I didn't know how to solve them.
After Art we had "General Knowledge" match. Our team lost and I was disappointed.
In homeroom we had our own General Knowledge competition. Yasmin, Franny, me, Niko and Hugo got to ask the class random questions. One of them was so funny, Yasmin and I had to run outside because we were laughing too much. The first thing we saw was the bathroom, so we ran in there and zoumed. Mme Boisson (my French teacher) heard us and told us to go to class. I don't think anyone noticed us missing.
After school was the best part of it. We didn't go to Simply this Friday since I was involved in the dance show. Carolina also stayed with us. Franny went to Happy Days and the three of us decided to go upstairs to the auditorium like last week. After what we've done the week before, they removed the computer. The projector was in the corner, unplugged and there were only two white board markers. Also, the two doors were locked so we had to sneak through the library door without anyone noticing.
We made a harlem shake video (that was a fail) and drew on the board. We wrote a lot of stuff, but erased everything after. I wrote "Carolina will kill you!". Next week we have to make a lip dub to, our favourite, nipple song!
The dance show was kind of embarrassing.... I really didn't like the dance we were doing... Everyone told me that our dance group was very good, but I still didn't like it. It wasn't the worst though.... At least, I wasn't doing the Indian dance. The Indian dance was like one pound fish. They had the same costumes.
Today I had to wake up very early (at 9 or something) to get to the train. I got there 30 minutes early and had to wait in the cold. Franny arrived. Yasmin and Carolina did too. The four of us went to the chocolate festival that was five minutes away. We didn't have much time so the only thing we bought was a chocolate rabbit for our friend Lydie (because it said Lidi on it). I also got chocolate fondue that was amazing.
We only had about three minutes until the train and we wanted to get to the train station as soon as possible. There was a train/tourist bus going around the festival. We got in it and were hoping to end up close to the train station. Instead the "train" drove to and around the chocolate factory and stopped at the same distance to the station as we were before. This is called karma, my friends.... Don't be lazy...
We rushed to the ticket machine, but had no time. The machine didn't take Yasmin's 100chf note and it was the only thing we had. We hopped into the train quickly.
Suddenly we saw Niko getting on. He sat next to us.
When they came to check our tickets I showed the old one I had in my purse from this morning. Franny has hers. She gave Carolina her one week old ticket. The people who looked at our tickets didn't even check the date. Yasmin didn't have anything except her 100chf note. They took her address, phone number and name. Now, her mum has to pay... Niko was just laughing there.... XD
We met Marina and Lydie at Molinos, an Italian restaurant. Marina only had two hours since she had to go back to the hospital. We had a great time!
After that Yasmin, Franny, Carolina and I went for a walk around the old town. The thing is that our darling Carolina is a little devil. She would be all calm and nice and then, suddenly, she would start shouting "Oh hell no! Aint' nobody got time for dat!" and swearing and blaming everything on indians (why....???). At one point she started singing in a low black person's accent voice "we are a family! yeah yeah yeah! ooo hell ya baby baby!". After that she'd go all quiet again and tell us to calm down. And then she would shout again. She even shouted "I'm black!". She learned how to say the word madarchod from us and now she says it all the time! Carolina is amazing! I love her so much!
We went to the playground and creeped some little kids out. I never had so much fun on a playground before....
I love my messed up friends!
note: So... My friends and I are a family. Yasmin and I adopted Carolina. She is our stepdaughter. Franny is Carolina's "ghetto aunt". Carolina had her aunt's voice.... Marina is Franny's husband, so she is Carolina's uncle. Lydie is their child, so she is Carolina's cousin. Hiba is Yasmin's mum and my mother-in-law. Yay!

Our trip to India

Guess why today was so fun...! Because we didn't do anything at school! We don't have any "serious" subjects on Fridays (like Maths or English). The only things we have are CSL, Music, Art, Special, Geo and  Science.
In CSL we were "watching" a video about drugs... It was some fat American guy talking in the most annoying accent and voice! Yasmin and I were "taking notes" on my iPad.
In Art I didn't do anything either since I finished all my work last week. I made purple using paint and went crazy about how amazing it was. Our teacher hates our class because we never do anything productive and "watch disgusting inappropriate videos that you can watch at home" (- Mr. Woodbridge's quote).
At lunch Mr Woodbridge sat with us. He's never sitting with us again...... :-/
We had an assembly after lunch. It was all in French and... It sucked like all the other assemblies we had (except the one we ditched).
Our Science teacher is on a trip and we had Mr Hitz as a substitute. We were supposed to be doing an experiment, but no one knew what we were doing exactly. Franny and I ended up having water fights.
During the second period of Science more than half of our class was gone to do the debate. The rest of us were on our phones, tablets and laptops, playing games or taking pictures and posting them on Facebook.
The best part of the day was after school.
Yasmin, Franny and I found out that our classroom was unlocked and decided to stay in there. We acted out being in English class and ended up sitting on the floor at the back of the room (aka "the Hell No! club"). Sadly, we got cought and had to leave.
After going to the top of the Grenier we went up to the Cervin auditorium that was unlocked too!!! There were whiteboard markers so we wrote stuff on the white board. There was also a piano and we were singing (Franny's amazing black voice) and playing.
Next to the door there was a projector and a computer on a desk. We logged into the computer (the password was written on the computer itself) and turned the projector on. Franny found pictures of Taj Mahal and projected it onto the wall. I took a photo of us in front of it...

Imagine if M Peron finds out and (for some random reason) we get sent to his office again. What would the letter home be like? "Yasmin and two friends sneaked into the learningwhateverarea unsupervised, hacked the computer and using their electronic device took photos in front of a building that they projected on a wall..."
On our way to Simply (we were late) Yasmin and I decided that if they ask us why we are late we would tell them that we just came back from our trip to India. Zoum!
After Simply, I quickly put my shoes on since I didn't want to be late to the train. I saw my mum standing outside so I opened the front door and saw..... My dad was standing there. It took me a couple of moments to think about it. At first I thought that he wasn't real, but... Oh my! That was him.
Dad said that he's going to Paris by car and he was passing by Geneva. He gave us a lift home and left.
I was speechless...

I love spring!!!

It was the first of March.
The cats started meowing. The air started being soft and gentle. The conker stands were replaced by ice cream ones.
The spring finally arrived!
School was fun (as usual). Since we don't have Maths or English *puke* on Fridays, it is generally a good day.
In CSL we watched a video about drugs and decided that we want to grow marijuana. The video told us everything about how to grow it and they also said that you get a lot of money from selling it. Just kidding, I don't want to grow it. ;-)
I didn't do anything in Art class. We drew self portraits and I finished mine the week before. I made it all purple and refused to change it when the teacher asked me to. She said that I will loose marks, but I like it the way it is...
Yasmin and I started wandering around the Picasso (art) building. We climbed on top of a chair and could see the other side of the bathroom wall. We were hoping to find a secret room with dead bodies or blood or anything interesting, but instead we found a place where they keep clay creations. After, we found another dark room with a bunch of junk in it.
In science class we went outside and examined different types of soil. It was fun, but, since we didn't have a lot of time, we didn't finish it.
After school, Yasmin and I went to the Cervin auditorium, played piano, did the cup song and listened to Vocaloid (and, since it is our tradition, the nipple song).
Simply Theatre was unusual. Most of the people weren't there so we made a lip dub music video. Sonyasmin scared people away by closing themselves in dark studios.
The most exciting thing happened after Simply.
MY DAD IS HERE!!!! YAY!!!
Mum and I met him at the airport. I was so happy and excited!!!!
Dad brought me a pink and beige bag, a purple (!!!) purse and something very special. I would tell you what it was, but since everyone (my teachers, for example) has access to this blog, I can't.
Today, the tree of us went to town and Dad bought me the new iPod nano (since my old one broke because of an Indian festival >_<)! It's purple and now I'm listening to music!
My dad's friend was also there since he had to give us Dad's old cello. It sounds and looks so beautiful! It was made in 1804 and is very precious!

I think I'm not going to do any of my homework (although I REALLY have to do my English essay) because I only see my dad a couple of times a year and I don't want to waste my time on it....
Bye!

Vacation!

Friday was the last day before Ski week. After Csl, Music and other boring school subjects, Yasmin and I stayed after school.
The funny thing about our school is that after 10 or so minutes after the last bell, the place becomes deserted. It feels like you're in an abandoned town. It's dead silent and not a single person is outside.
After going to the cafe Yaz and I decided to go to the top of the Grenier.
The Grenier is quite a small building. The cafe is located at the first floor. There's also a sports shop where you can buy sports clothes, hats, swimming suits, etc. Next to the cafe there's an office. It used to be the discipline office before. I don't know which one it is now.
If you go upstairs you'll find yourself in a small room with round tables and chairs. There's also a microwave. The wall to your left is painted and decorated with characters from video games (for example Omnom from cut the rope). To the opposite of the door there's a swirly staircase. On the top of it there's a big lock that wouldn't let anyone inside. If you look up you will be able to see the roof and a part of the attic floor.
To the right of the staircase and next to the microwave, there's a door that leads to the next room. It is quite small, but it has many chairs and tables inside. Behind the door at the corner of the room, there are stairs to the attic. In the attic there's quite a big mess. The door that leads to the other half of the attic, that you can see from the first room, is locked.
The third room is bigger than the first one, but it is still small. There are armchairs and a tv. There are also tables and chairs. The walls are decorated with hand prints and graffiti-like letters.
The room next to that one is the play room.
At the top of the Grenier Yasmin and I had our salad. We wanted to go to the attic, but there was someone in there. When we were done, we went outside, sat on the bench in front of reception, took Pon pon (my iPad) out and started playing the Indian nipple song. Zoum! Sasha, a guy from my after school bus, came to join us. We talked about the most random stuff ever. Soon, it was time to go.
Simply Theatre was quite fun. At break time Yaz and I sat in the Green room and imitated Dill from 'To kill a Mockingbird'. It made us laugh so much that we were very sick afterwards.
In dance class we discussed our teachers and at some point we came to the topic of Missis Manchala (oooffff! I'm starting to mention her so often!). Everyone said that she was super nice and cool and awesome.
One piece of information made us so sick that Yasmin couldn't participate in the rest of the activities.
So that was my last day of school! And now I'm bored.....

More snow

The snow melted by the end of the day and the next morning was completely dry.
Friday. The long bus ride. Listening to music. There's no snow left. It seems like it's fall again.
It starts snowing by the time I get to school. The snow isn't wet. It doesn't melt by the time it gets to the ground. It just lies there. It doesn't stop snowing. Slowly, everything around us turns white. I get out of my art class. wishing it never snowed. Wishing for it to be summer again.
They call this "extreme weather". The after school buses are cancelled. So is Simply Theatre. I go to Yasmin's house. We watch Silent Hill till midnight and go to sleep late.
We have to go back to school at 10 to practise for Ammy. Tired, we get up. Our voices are tired too. We can't control them and sound horrible. Being good singers we're embarrassed and loose all our confidence.
I go home on Saturday at 4 o'clock and fall asleep immediately. Having 18 hours of sleep (like a cat! nyan! ^_^) I get up and do my homework...
PS We got our class photos.... Our class is full of ugly people... Zoum! XD Aaaand I'm on honours! When Mr Gilbert  gave the certificates out to us, he said "And the troublesome twins..." (meaning me and Yaz). And we said "We're not troublesome! We're evil!" ZOUM!

I miss Yasmin...

It's Yasmin's third week off school... I miss her a lot. She's not a popular person, but a lot people miss her. I dream about her coming back to school and text her 24/7.
Her absence made me closer to Carolina. I never talked to her before. She turned out to be very nice and not at all childish as I thought she would be. She acts and does things that any teenage girl would do. I think it's just her appearance that made me think of her character the wrong way.
It was my French teacher's last day yesterday. I think I'm actually gona miss her. She was my first and only NORMAL french teacher so far. Usually the frenchies have a very weird behaviour and way of teaching. They're always too obsessed with their job that it seems like they have no other interest in life. I wonder how our new teacher's going to be.
And Yasmin's still not there... I don't know where she is! Help me!!!
I had Simply Theatre today. It wasn't fun without Yasmin... I need her!!! I don't know why, but when I'm at Simply I just start to act like a misanthrope thinking about how dumb and annoying people are. And I end up in a very very bad mood so I look like I'm just shy or something. But in reality I just have this "oh, screw that!" mood and so I just stand there in the corner because I can't be bothered to listen to anyone (not because I'm shy). We were also singing there. I couldn't do any of the songs because they were all too high for my voice. So when I started singing I sounded like a bumble bee...
I miss Yasmin..... ((((((( Saaad faaace!!!! (((((
