Favourite movies?

I don't really have any movies that I never get sick of watching. I guess I never get tired of watching a russian animated series called Smeshariki (yes, I'm fifteen years old and I still enjoy children's cartoons). I think it's because I really love the sense of humour in these cartoons since it is all like a big inside joke that only Russian people can understand. The cartoons have translated into English and are called Kikoriki, but the translation made the characters loose their clever sense of humour and they are not that funny in English.
Another movie I can watch over and over again is probably Spirited Away because it is simply the best animated film ever!
Speaking of cartoons I just realised that I can never get tired of watching Soviet cartoons. They make me nostalgic and remind me of my early childhood. I remember I showed some of them to Yasmin and both of us started crying.
I think will also have to mention Tangled because whenever my cousin and I get together we secretly watch it during the night (along with Spirited Away).
I think that's pretty much it. (My film preferences are like so mature haha)

Life of Pi

Yasmin met me at the cinema. We got nachos, slushies and a lot of candy.
As we walked in, we realised that all the best seats were taken and that the only seats left were either in the front row or in the corner. There were so many people.
All the way through the movie there was something that you could not explain using words. It was something that you could only feel deep in your heart. Even now I do not understand how a movie can bring you that feeling. These people were just actors, but it felt as if the characters were alive and had an actual soul. I've never experienced that feeling in the cinema before.
And, of course, I cried a lot. Sometimes it wasn't only because something was sad.
While watching it I also realised something about myself and the world around me. That film changed me and the way I think.
I wish there were more movies like that.

Meh.....

School started sooner than I expected it to. It was the first time I didn't go to Moscow for New Year. New Year, itself, was probably the most boring one for me. None of my relatives were there and I was in my room, writing in my "diary" about how sad I am to be without them. The day after the catholic christmas I went to Yasmin's house. We stayed up for more than 24 hours and felt very bad afterwards.
That sums up my vacation.......

The first week of school was the best week of school I ever had. I didn't have any homework and Yaz and I had the best time ever.
Yesterday we went to the cinema and watched "Life of Pi", but that deserves a separate blog post.

Shopping and Twilight

Yesterday, Franny, Carolina, Emma, Paulina, Ximena and me went to the cinema to watch Twilight.
I ran out of my house to get to the tram, but as soon as I got to the tram stop it left. The next tram was only coming in 6 minutes. At first I decided to wait, but I ended up running to the train station. Franny and Carolina said that they were at Starbucks. Since they weren't there I went inside the train station. Franny called me and we, finally, met up.
The rest of our friends were already at Balexert, buying tickets. I was all excited about it. (Whenever I go to the cinema at Balexert I just can't stop thinking about that time I went there with Peter, even though it was such a long time ago...) I got nachos and a slushy. Yum yum!!!
The movie was.... I don't know how to describe it properly... I was waiting for something to happen, but nothing really did... At some moments I just didn't understand what was going on because some of it was all so fast and unexpected and not at all linked to the story. The fights weren't at all realistic. The characters didn't act at all. You just couldn't tell if the main character Bella was sad or happy or depressed because she had the same face on all the time. The story was complicated. Sometimes there was too much action that you just couldn't keep track of it. And sometimes there was no action at all and it was boring.
The movie messed up my good mood and by the time we went shopping I just wanted to go home. While Carolina and Franny were at the makeup store, I was on my own outside. I didn't feel like looking at all the lotions and masks and perfume bottles. I started getting bored so I decided to get to the book store. On my way there I stopped and thought carefully about what I was doing. I thought about them looking for me and getting worried because they wouldn't find me. I thought that it wouldn't be at all nice to leave them there. I thought that they actually cared about me and I only cared about myself. I ended up thinking that I was selfish so I went back, finding Franny looking for me.
After that, all of us went to Clair's. I wondered there for a while and came up with a conclusion that none of it was interesting  to me. So I went outside again. Before I knew what I was doing I found myself walking to the book store. I stopped myself once again. And thought about it all. I decided not to go there.
After about 30 mins Franny walked out of Clair's and started calling me. I could see her, but she couldn't see me. Slowly, I made my way towards her.
Franny and all the rest of us went to Lush. Less than a minute after I sneaked away with Carolina. We ended up at the stationary shop looking at post cards and pens. There was a very cute purple post card with two owls on it. It said "Special friend" on it. I wanted to buy it, but then I thought, who I should give it to, and not finding such person, put it back on the shelf.
Franny found us quickly. After going to the CASA store (where they sell things you can decorate your house with) I, finally had a chance to go to the book shop.
I spent a lot of time looking for Enligh books. When I found them I realised that almost all of them were fiction books. Since I don't really like fiction I decided to go and look at the manga books near by. At least a quarter of them were Hentai (pornography) and the rest were the ones with strange characters (like Naruto). I didn't find anything I knew. I gave up my hope on finding a good book so I went to look at the DVDs. I ended up going outside, stalking Franny and Carolina who were looking for me, thinking why I'm treating them that way.
I went home, very tired. I didn't buy anything while the others bought loads. Weird...

SUMMER!!!!!!

Tomorrow is going to be another school day. Another boring school day just like two months ago when I left for vacation. I didn't know what was waiting for me, but now I do and I wish I had more time. This is how it started:

My relatives were waiting for me at the airport. Excited, we drove to the datcha where the others were waiting for us. Dasha, Vasyok's 12-year-old cousin and her friend Sonya were also there. This is the video I made when I came there:
Sadly Sonya left the next day, but we still had fun all together. The three of us watched Brave at the cinema. It was really scary and my cousin and I screamed all the way through. We also visited the zoo...
Cute owl!!!
...And Kolomenskoye.

But soon it was time to go to Montenegro. Since the next day after the day of our arrival was my dad's birthday, he took me straight to Kolasin where we celebrated it.
Celebration time!

After that my dad and I went to Krucha where I got sick. I had a terrible cold.

Montenegro is beautiful!

But after two weeks I had to go back to Moscow. In Moscow I spent three nights at my dacha.

We played with LEGO!!!
And then...
I made cookies!!! (shaped as cats and stuff)
 Chalk drawings at the cellar!!!

The Lenin room (ok! There was a room with a huge picture of Lenin and other stuff to do with him. Random...)

 We went to a park
That's the place where Matt was dancing when he went to Moscow.
My aunt's cat, Lemur (it's a girl), is so cute!!!

I found her sleeping like this the night before I left
And I had to leave. *sniff sniff* Bye-bye, Summer...

In the snow of Moscow!

You, guys, should be jealous (is that how you spell it?). Right now I'm in Moscow, Russia, at my Grandma's. If you don't know what Moscow is I'll tell you. For me, because I visit Moscow in winter, mostly, it is a land of coldness, endless snow and dirty frozen cars. Doesn't sound like a nice place to you, right? I know. But it's better to celebrate New Year here than in my Swiss apartment.
I'm sooo excited to meet Vasyok! It's so unfair that she still has school on these days (till the 30th of December. Can you imagine that?). I'm also looking forward to watch "Kikoriki: beginning". With Vasyok, of course. Aaand going to Tarasovka is, surely, going to be fun. So much fun stuff at this muddy place, right? Depends how you look at it!

18 Dec 2011

I have two things to say.

It was the last day of school on Friday. It was raining all day long (no snow!?). I was jumping around (I nearly killed Mme.Roussel) and shouting that school was over (Mme.Roussel was almost killed again). Later, Franny and I went to Franny's house to celebrate the "best" day of the year. After, we went to my house, by train, and bought our lunch on the way. We decided not to go shopping (of the terrible weather and the broken umbrella) so we stayed at my house, watched Ratatoille and made clay creations.
Here are some pictures:
Welcome to Facebook! The umbrella broke!
 Do you like my gloves?
Go clay!

I'll talk about the other thing later.
So... Yeah! We had a lot of fun! Life is never boring with your BFFs.

1 Dec 2011

It all began suddenly.

It's the first day of winter and something weird is happening to me. In French we just finished watching a movie called the "Les Choristes". We're also going to sing a song from that movie for the concert (Voir sur ton chemin). Today I wanted to watch something so I went on the website where I usually get my movies from. At the bottom of the page it said "New soundtracks" and bellow that there was a list of new soundtracks. The third one was "Les Choristes". I didn't know what to watch, so I went on Yandex and typed in "the best movies you have to watch" and bellow the picture link there was a photo of M.Matheu and Morhange from "Les Choristes".
Is it stalking me?

And you know what happened yesterday? I was listening to a song on my ipod and it suddenly stopped. A new song started. It was "Wondering" (my best one). Don't you find it strange?

CLAY!!!

So...
Don't know what to start with.
Today was parent-teacher meeting, so I didn't go to school. It wasn't really a parent-teacher meeting. It was a parent-teacher-student meeting because in our school it's... just like this! Our principal, Mr.Gilbert said that meetings like this will make us more mature. He also said that in the future we'll have just teacher-student meetings. I think it's the most stupid idea.
While I was at home I made more stuff out of polymer CLAY!!!
I love clay (but I love purple more). Here are all my clay creations so far.
It's all very bad quality. I'll try to make a better picture some day. Today I made these:

See you later, alligator!
